Surgical operation for spinal disc herniation
MISS-Technique (Minimal Invasive Spine Surgery)
The MISS technique is used to determine the cause of the pain after a slipped disc. Using microsurgical instruments and a microscope and/or endoscope, the herniated disc material is removed under general anaesthetic to relieve the pinched nerve.
